Troop 1409 Eagle Scouts

Troop 1409 is very proud of the following scout who have earned the highest rank of Eagle in Boy Scouts. We are view proud of them.

All the scout below are also honored via the Eagle Scout Wall in front of the Frank Fickett Scout Training and Service Center, recognizing all who have earned the rank of Eagle in the more than 100 year history of the Capitol Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Everyone commemorated on the wall, in their own way, have contributed or will contribute to their communities through service, leadership and civic duty. They are living proof of Scouting’s positive impact on Central Texas and our nation.

Eagle Rank Received: October 23rd, 2018 Court of Honor: January 26th, 2019 His Eagle project consisted of building duck houses and placing them in and around Mills Pond in Wells Branch.


Evan Jewett

Eagle Rank Received: May 10th, 2016 Court of Honor: July 16, 2016 Evan completed his Eagle project at Cele Middle School (CMS) which consisted of a beautification effort at the entrance to Cele Middle School. Evan attend CMS as a 7th grader when they first opened the school and he wanted to contribute to opening of the school. He planted trees, shrubs, and laid-down stones around the sign to ease the updating without having to get muddy and dirty.


Luke Peterson

Eagle Rank Received: March 20th, 2012 Court of Honor: April 20th, 2012 His Eagle project is a beautiful labyrinth that is part of the church property.


Nishanth Kalavakolanu Eagle Rank Received: 2016 Court of Honor: 2016 Nishanth left Troop 1409 in 2014 but continued in his Scouting activities with Troop 685.

Thor Reese Eagle Rank Received: 2016 Court of Honor: 2016 Nishanth left Troop 1409 in 2014 but continued in his Scouting activities with Troop 685.

Sean Johnson Eagle Rank Received: 2016 Court of Honor: 2016 Sean's project consisted of building duck houses and placing them in and around Lake Bastrop. Sean left Troop 1409 in 2015 but continued in his Scouting activities with Troop 8787.
