Hello Troop!

First, a big thank you to everyone that helped with this event. It was a lot of work, but I also think it was a fun and raised some much needed funds for our Troop.

I've counted the money collected Saturday night, and that total was $867. I'd made an earlier deposit of some pre-sales funds, so suspect once I get all of my addition done, we will have netted just about $1000. After expenses are deducted, I believe we'll be around the $700 mark. I hope to have all my final numbers out by the end of the week. I think that this should be considered as an annual fundraising event by the committee. If it becomes a regular event for the Wells Branch community, attendance will grow year to year, and the potential for additional fundraising increases.

Scouts - you were all fabulous! Your skits, your excellent manners and help during the event, and your attitude were outstanding. I received many compliments about you from various adults as I helped serve spaghetti that evening. Scouts - be proud of your hard work, and proud of the impact you can have in our community :)
