Spring Break: Urland Scout Reservation

The troop is scheduled to have an extended camp out at Camp Urland, outside of Woodville TX, from Mar 13 thru Mar 16. We went to Urland last Spring Break and the boys had a blast!

The boys, almost unanimously, have chosen to go to Camp Urland. I realize that it is a long drive. To take the boys to a different terrain/climate, we need to travel a long distance. Some units travel to the Guadalupe Mtns (8 hrs) or even Arkansas (10 hrs).
We've promised the boys that we would make it happen, if they tell us where or what they want to do.

Camp Urland Scout Reservation is approximately 715 acres of land located in the East Texas Piney Woods of Woodville Texas, about 50 miles north of Beaumont. We are open year-round for weekend camping and offer a several Council programs throughout the year.
